Help from our friends Dec 21, 2001

The March 2002 issue will contain a look at how we took a great car and made it even better. We found a cure for the shifter buzz, made the car handle better and ride better, and improved our test-track lap times by 1.4 seconds per lap! No, we didn't hire a witchdoctor, we just utilized some great information and help from several different M3 experts, including http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/, http://www.turnermotorsport.com, RTRS, http://www.ground-control.com and http://www.koni-na.com

Look for the March 2002 issue on the newstands at the end of January.

Our E30 M3 is complete Mar 4, 2002

Our project M3 is now completed. Besides driving this beauty nearly everyday it has become our chosen weapon for local autocrosses. As we planned, this car combines amazing handling and prowess on the autocross course with farily comfortable daily transport.

We have ordered a special light duty trailer hitch from Mario Langsten of Vintage Sport & Racing so that we can tow Tommy Suddard's FJR Kart to autocrosses, so that father and son can run together at the same events. At our first Buccaneer region SCCA event our M3 and its somewhat rusty driver finished in the top ten overall and third in the CSP class out of twelve drivers. We are very pleased with the outcome of this car and will keep perfecting and running it through the season.
