Maximum (legal) MINI Horsepower Aug 22, 2001

We just completed an extensive round of dyno testing on our MINI. We are trying to get the maximum legal horsepower for SCCA's H Stock autocross class. We don't want to leave anything on the table when we head for Topeka for the Solo II Nationals in September.

We tested the following things: Admax synthetic oil, Mini Mania drop-in air filter element, Nology spark plug wires, Magnecor spark plug wires, Mini Mania exhaust, Rogue Engineering exhaust, Helix exhaust and a Supersprint exhaust. Full results will be published in the December 2002 issue.
