Over the years, NASA has blazed a trail by finding a place to race just about anything–and we mean that in a good way. They haven’t let tradition get in the way. If it’s cool, they’ll find a home for it. The latest car to get NASA’s stamp of approval is the Catfish, the Mazda-based special built by Bauer Limited Production. Under the sleek bodywork lies a drivetrain and suspension lifted from a 1990- ’05 Mazda Miata. The Catfish can now run in NASA’s Sport Touring ranks. The specific class depends on the exact vehicle setup.
