If you're not one of the cool kids camping at Gainesville Raceway for the $2000 Challenge, this information might be helpful. I just heard back from the hotel after asking why the site wasn't showing rooms available:
The cut off date to make a reservation at the discounted group rate was 10/06, so there are no more room being held in the group block. Competitors can ask for Zach, the Front Office Manager to assist them when calling to make reservations. We will try to accommodate anyone who calls at this point to make a reservation at the group rate, but it will depend on our availability at the time.
