Bonylad has kindly offered me the tailgate from His Grandpa’s S10 and I'd like to accept that offer. To do so, I'm looking for someone Challenge-bound via the I-95 corridor through northern NC to get it to Gainesville, as the tailgate is in Newport NC 28570 and I'm in Canton MI 48187. Also looking for someone to step up and say they'll get it from Gainesville to somewhere in this part of the Midwest.

Mofo express is already bringing me wheels to MI so a tailgate should be easy. He's also supposed to be hooking up with dusterbd13 on the way down for truck parts swapping, so if michael and bonylad can coordinate, john can bring us both to climax
If theres some way to get it to me, I'll get it on the mofo Express. Just no time for me to get to the coast in time.....

If you can get it to the picnic area on Chilhowee Lake near the Tennessee entrance of the Tail of the Dragon on Thursday October 22 by 9:30am I can get it back to Michigan by Monday morning.

ECM and bonylad are working on an exchange that would result in this tailgate arriving to duster's place on 10/13. Hooray!
Well, worst case then mofo ends up with it and i grab it when i get my wheels and then stop off and get it to you when i grab the oil pan and rods

Whats your route looking like? I won't be at the Challenge, but you've got some wheels of mine riding with you.
The easy button may be to leave them with duster, and I will connect with him.
I am also willing to help with this tailgate, but not sure I can do anything that duster is not already doing.
FYI, I am frequently running back and forth from central SC to ATL.
Leave Climax at 9pm Wednesday night. Quick stop in Dayton to drop parts. Then to the Tennessee end of the Tail of the Dragon to drop parts and make a shakedown/photo op run. Loading up and in Gainesville by 5pm.

I don't want to make it harder for John in any way. It seems like an extra stop or connection is not in his best interest.
