Hey, if you guys are interested, I'm a dealer for Maxilite and sell the 16x8 & 9 Penta/Ronal replicas like on the OG red pig.  Not wide enough, I know, but they can be widened by specialists.  Plus, I'll make you a deal, because this car should have them.  Bravo.

All right looks like a bucket got his part figured out. 

In the mid time I did some dash upholstery work . 

One side header is almost done . 

Test fitting it with the engine , I did install AC compressor . 

I hate NY summer climate. 

Car is looking SO GOOD. Good move with the AC install. You won't regret having it in that fishbowl. 

Question about the roll cage knee bar: in the photos it looks like it's really low and would actually hit your knees when working the pedals. Is that just a case of perspective from the pics? 

There is Room for legs .  It might stay I might remove it . Collides a little when I get in or out of the car . 

Today had an hour to kill and installed BIG lights .

Digging it - the suede wrapped dash looks great!

I am in love. Both the 242 Turbo and the 500SEL.

Light are all wired up with double relays and hopefully will have enough alternator.

One side header is done 8 - 4 -2 -1  it was little time consuming
