Its due to the offset of the wheel. It would clear with more backspace.

All loaded up for another hpde day at rockingham. Doing flagman as well as oval pace laps this time. Hopefully I get more seat time on the volunteer run group this event (rained out Last time)
first session down. New cooling system mods worked phenomenally. Still a little warm, but managed with a balf lap cooldown.
Fixed back seat and five points and a better roll bar if i keep doing this though. This car is legitimately fast around track. Safety first. Im fine with current gear for autocross though....
definitely getting some heat in the brakes wjen the anodized finish on the lug nuts change colors....

So, three twenty minute sessions today.
Car sticks very well, and works amazingly. Its a hoot!
Drivers seat, with my girth, flexes significantly in lefthand turns. And yes, i tightened the bolts.
Someone got on the apron witb slicks and hosed my car with rocks. Cracked widshield and a TON of chips in the paint now. Not happy, but nothing i can do.
I honestly wonder if more power and grip will improve it or not. I mean, im going to do both regardless, but im wondering if it will be an improvement.
The diff is getting worse. You can hear it from the other side of the infield when its going around the oval. Probably need to address that.

That is awesome! Looks like a fun track layout, but man those transitions for oval to infield are rough!
The transition didn't feel that rough, honestly. It was, it just didn't feel it.
Turner: thats shift light in 4th. It doesn't pull fifth well at above a hundred on the back straight. Dont know why, other than probably aero limited power. And you run oyt of track pretty quickly. A regear should help.
759: i know. I know. Its on the list. Im thinking 3.55 track lock 8.8 with sleeved axles. But that requires time. And money. And more giveaE36 M3 than i can currently muster.
Windshield is ordered.
