Purchased this 2013 GTI for my daughter and it’s probably too much car for her at this time. The original engine was recently replaced by Wolfe’s Volkswagen in Harrisburg with a low-mileage engine (37k, have receipt showing warranty and work). The interior is spotless, has gorgeous plaid seats and everything shows well.
The interior is all stock and unmodified, the steering wheel has minimal wear and the headliner was replaced with a new OEM unit. Exterior shows well, has paint chips on the front bumper (previously had a front plate on it since it was a Maryland car). No rust, all original bodywork and paint. Carfax shows zero wrecks. Mechanically it is in great shape.
The new engine has the update timing tensioner and the valves were cleaned before installation. DSG has been serviced and shifts smoothly. This is a no sunroof car, so there are no leaks or extra noise. This is the lightest MK6 you can buy. Wheels shows typical scuffs for a city car, tires are at 4-5/32nd.
The windshield was just replaced, I need to get stickers replaced.
