RM Sotheby’s calls this 1980 BMW M1 AHG Studie “among the rarest models BMW has ever built.”

There are believed to be no more than 10 BMW M1 road cars modified in-period by German dealership AHG.

AHG upgraded the M1 in several ways. It features Procar-inspired bodywork. The car has an adjustable racing suspension and 16-inch three-piece BBS wheels. The M88 engine was uprated to 350 horsepower. They changed the interior with leather seat inserts and added additional speakers for the stereo system.

Find this 1980 BMW M1 AHG Studie for sale from RM Sotheby’s with an expected selling price of $450,000-$500,000.
