Where does this Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Super Sport rank among examples? It was accepted for the 2020 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Now, a new owner has the opportunity to show this living, rolling piece of history.

With influence from its first owner, Alfa Romeo factory racer Count Goffredo Zehender, Pinin Farina designed the coachwork for this car. It is believed to be just one of three or four examples influenced by Zehender. His personal touch can be seen with the Alfa Romeo’s unique front fascia, larger inset grille sections, sculpted hood and rear haunches, and the license plate cut-out in the trunk lid.

The current owner bought it in 2013, who then commissioned a 7-year restoration. That work was set to make a big splash at Pebble Beach, but unfortunately Covid restrictions derailed those plans.
