Fleet Aircraft. That poor thing was well made.

I hope the amount is what they will pay you to take it away.

Definitely vintage.  Fair price given the value of lumber these days, how much to just build one?

You know what? I saw the teardrop camper Dan posted to the forum today and realized I never replied to this. Just opened it up, looked at the pictures, and... closed it. Something about that particular grotty old camper just skeeves me out. (Okay, everything about it.)

While I think the idea is cool,it's not $3500 cool, at least not to me.

$350 and I'd buy it though

I am mostly impressed that given how quickly modern RV's develop leaks and rot themselves to death, this thing is in remarkable shape after 73 years, at least some of which have been spent in the Pacific rain forest.

It was built by an aircraft company, I'd bet they had access to far better glues and a better skill set that Jim-Bob-Joe does in his garage.

It's inspiring, glad I already have a travel trailer that I barely use or I'd be trying to build one.
