This 1979 Rolls-Royce Corniche holds a special place in Hollywood lore. It was the vehicle that the late actress Zsa Zsa Gabor was in when she slapped a police officer in 1989. That incident triggered a media frenzy, and this car was at the center of it.

Gabor bought the Corniche new, and most of the miles on it came under her ownership. Only about 200 miles of the 49,284 actual miles occurred after she sold it.

While on trial for her brush with the law, Gabor famously told reporters and photographers hounding her around her Rolls-Royce, “Don’t scratch the car.” She also threatened to call the police on the mob as she awaited the verdict. For those who forgot, the jury found her guilty of slapping the officer, among other charges, and Gabor eventually served three days in jail.
