One good thing about driving a Beetle in Florida. You won't have to scrape the inside of your windows while driving in winter! You wear your ski gear and scrape the inside of your windows a lot in much of the north.

Ice scraper in the Winter, rubber window squeegie the rest of the year.

It was SO cold one year here in Massachusetts that I was actually/honestly driving around in my Karmann Ghia with an open flame propane heater where the passenger seat would normally be and it was PISSA ! ! !

I mean the first time ever that I was comfortable in that car after September and before the end of May. That Ghia was my daily driver for six full years.
