Tips for working on cars as we age

I will complain about having to butt-crawl under cars until the day I can no longer do it. 

Then I will be sad because I can't do it.

My wife inherited something similar as a lounge chair. It raises to accept her, she sits in it and reclines to watch TV  when done it  raises her up  almost to a full standing position.  
 So it works for her.  
     But her muscles are getting weaker from lack of use.  Me?  I'll use muscles as long as I can.  Yes it's a strain.  But I'll take that rather than grow dependent on an aparatious.    
I think it was only a a $1000 or so.  

I've already started a move to motorcycles. With a lift table, life gets super easy. Not done with cars yet, but if it becomes necessary the bikes are a good substitute.
