Looks like a fine deal to me. Running and driving wrecked r53s are going for as much money on IAAI (after fees). I probably shouldn't be the one saying to go for a 200k+ mile r53 given my experience but I wouldn't be scared off from it. How many people would tell you to run away if you were looking at a 200k+ mile e46?

Because of that last thought, I would not buy it, but considering todays pricing, and a lot of negotiable room, I don't think it's ridiculous. I would not take a grand for it if I was driving it already. 
Just finish driving it into the ground!
