The 4th gen is SLA front, 3rd gens have struts.

To the OP, if you liked the 2012 car, the Fox may be quite a disappointment, unless you throw the Maximum Motorsports catalog at it.

Thanks. Yes, the 2005+ car is light years ahead of the previous cars. The torque arm is an important feature. How is the geometry on the front strut suspension on the 3rd gen Camaro?

I "like" the 2012.. at the same time it's handling infuriates me.

take a hard corner and feel the rear "pogo" ... i've never had it near it's limits b/c I hate that unsure feeling. I cannot trust it past that point... Which I'm sure is 50% of it's capability..

OP did you check this link out? Fantastic deal!

I did. 1500 was the budget the wife finally sort of agreed to. (then I could slowly stockpile parts a month at a time.)

more than that is a stretch. We have a tax auction to go to next month that might change our lives so every penny is for that. Else the budget says (hell naw) for three more years until our student loans are done for.

If the handling of a tin-top 2012 Mustang (I don't care what version, V6 on up) "infuriates" you then I really hope you go test drive this Fox Vert and write a detailed report on your opinions of the car. Try to drive the thing hard around some corners, over some bumps, and capture your full & true emotions in print for us. I think it will be quite the write up.
