I don't know how he behaved about Lewis' early days, I'm glad to hear he was supportive. But he sure wanted Max to take over.
It's easy to consider Bernie and Mosley the same person, that may have been my mistake.
I think Bernie saw dollar signs with Lewis, and that overrode any other feelings he might have had. Same thing with Putin, the Sochi race made him (slightly) richer, so Vlad is all good in Bernie's book.
But we are talking about the same guy who once said that women should dress in white so that they would "match the other domestic appliances." He's never been particularly progressive on social issues.
Looks like Mercedes and Williams have made some solid improvements. Qualifying is going to be interesting with this weather
Just wondering.......how much fuel are they carrying in qualifying........full/half???
Knowing F1, about a half Liter more than they need.

But only if the regulations say they have to.
Latifi in Q3!

In the rain, they often fuel more to take advantage of changing conditions, or to get enough heat in the tire. Dry, it's generally as little as possible to perform the required tasks.
Interesting qually, and congrats to Sainz!
Is it supposed to rain tomorrow?
Latifi may have gotten a reprieve to the end of this season, but I wonder if there's any other team that would have him next year?

Thank you kind sir.....
Halo saves another serious accident in the f2 race, which was caused by a sausage curb launching a car into the field (lost it/pushed off in breaking zone then hit curb at speed).
That was a quick red flag. Hope all is ok.

That is good news
Indeed.
Too bad George went out, too- he's trying to appeal to get back in since he got out to help the other driver. Not sure what happened to his car.
The rear left of George's car was damaged.
I think George wanted to get back in and drive it back to the pits but the marshals wouldn't let him. They are going to try to put it back into the race if the FIA lets them. Don't see that happening..
It looks like they are reordering the grid, putting the Ferrari first... did I see that wrong?
Wow, didn't expect to see the car get behind the barriers.
