I still think of 2001 as The Future, but it looks pretty damn vintage in these pictures. I must be getting old.

It's funny how little things have changed with these cars and the community around them. The knowledge level and technology have progressed over time, but that car is very much something that would still be built today by a turbo mopar enthusiast.

Although I was young and didn't know much back then, 15 years later I can say that people like these three (all of whom i've had the pleasure to meet over the years) embody what sucked me into the online community around these cars that I've been a part of for all these years.

I remember Barry Miles driving that car (or something very similar) in the Washington DC Solo2 events. It was always an FTD contender.
