How do you prepare for a race weekend? If your answer is “by loading up the car the night before,” you could be setting yourself up for failures out on track.

The best way to set yourself up for success? Take notes from FCP Euro’s professional IMSA team. Presented by CRC Industries.

So FCP's event prep is a bit more involved than mine....

How do the rest of you prepare? Wing it? Detailed lists?

I run a slightly warmed over legacy wagon when I do go to the track which is much less often than I would like. But my routine is an oil and filter change right before, check the brakes - rotors for cracks bleed as needed replace pads as needed mount up 200 tw tires already mounted on track wheels. Check coolant, and all other fluids. Check suspension for play in bushings and end links. Clean out interior wash car and clean windows and I'm good to go. For that car it has worked so far....
