All of them run, though the racecar takes a touch of prep because racecar.

5 cars on the property...  2 (suv and truck) are our winter daily drivers and are in the front garage.  The 3 Zs are in winter storage in the back shelter.   All run (or at least they did when parked back in October)...

4 cars and a motorcycle.

3 and the motorcycle run and the 4th car runs but isn't communicating power to the wheels (but off to get fixed tomorrow)

So not too bad. Only 1 is apart awaiting parts for a brake upgrade which are suppose to be here any time now.

Forgot the Bonus question almost: 22 spark plugs on 21 cylinders.

I just bought my 5th last Friday - a 1998 Boxster that I plan to use as my daily. I too try to only have one project at a time, and yet, between my 5 cars the Porsche is the only one that is currently capable of driving down the street. My other cars:

2012 Mazda3 - my other daily, it's at the body shop being repaired after losing a fight with a drunk lady in a parking lot

2002 Silverado 1500 - Needs new wheel bearings and ball joints up front

1991 Miata - My CSP prepped autocross car. It has no roof so it lives in the garage. Currently it's undergoing some upgrades and minor fixes.

Stock car - My actual project car, also in the garage. Currently in the process of assembling a dry sump system.

7, 6 of which run/drive, though one is on stands with the wheels off at the moment for a brake refresh and some other stuff.   The 6 which run are all registered/insured, although two are caged track cars.

30 spark plugs between 6 of the 7 vehicles.  My truck doesn't have spark plugs... wink

In reply to yupididit :

2.0-car garage contains 1 car that doesn't run.  4 cars run, and not one of them has seen the inside of the garage since 2019.

Cars – 10 plus 2 chassis, 2 are in the garage. Define running – if I imagine I won’t be using one for a while I’ll pull the battery and put it on the bench to trickle charge. Several might just need a battery to fire up.

Motorcycles – 6 plus 2 frames 1 is in the garage. 2 are close to running 4 are projects.

Actually under cover and in the garage? 2. The Bentley and the Abomination.

Owned? Do buses and motorhomes count? Does it count if you've paid for it but haven't taken possession?

So, not counting the buses and motorhomes and actually in possession, 9. All of them running and most of them have plates and insurance.

Add to that 2 buses and a motorhome and it's 12.

Add to that the Miata (Gasp!! Toyman has a Miata in the fleet?) the wife just bought and it's 13.

Damn, that's not a lucky number, I should buy another one. wink

How about company vehicles? Can I count them? If so 17.

Spark plug question...back in a few.

So, spark plugs add up to 61 not counting the boats. Add them in and it's 75. Add the work fleet and the total is 99

Plus another 14 glow plugs.

6 TVRs

2 Lotus

5 will run right away, another 2-4 in a day with a battery (drove there)

EDIT: A rescroll found some with more than me.. Yay!!

Hope to sell 3 projects on this year

Well that depends on your definition of 'car' and 'run.

8 total

6 run, like in the normal sense of the word, I could get in and turn the key right now and they would fire up, and are registered/insured and regularly driven depending on the weather.

The 7th actually would start too but it's mid radiator swap so it should be turned off again very quickly.

1 parts car that is down to a shell i need to scrap at this point.

1 locost chassis, and roughly enough 'miata' to assemble into a running vehicle - but calling that assortment a 'car' is exceedingly generous.

Spark plugs? 40.

As many have said, only start one serious project at a time.  I am in violation of this currently, as I took the radiator halfway out of the Jag and got sidetracked by the suburban needing a water pump.  That started the slippery slope of ignoring the Jag, to the point where i started dragging home other projects (and completing THEM!) before getting back to the poor thing.

Four including my wife's little Kia. All run and are legal and driven regularly.

And one of them is naturally aspirated!  (the M3).  The FD and the Audi both have two, the Miata, the truck, and the CX-9 have one each.
