Our Mazdaspeed3 got some suspension surgery in the form of a set of Mazdaspeed coil-overs. While the stock tires performed admirably, we wanted to use some rubber that more adequately exploited the fancy new hardware. We went with the new Yokohama Advan Neova AD-08 on a set of 18x8 OZ Racing Alleggerita wheels. Results were impressive.

Snazzy video. Nice slash in the lap time too. I read that the new Neova is coming in a 15in size. Will us small car guys finally get to use an Advan Neova tire?
Likely. The line is supposed to include 39 sizes, from 15 to 19-inch. There may be some regional discrepancies in distribution, but hopefully the Miata/CRX crowd in the states will get some love.
Will the 235/40R18 AD08 fit on the OEM wheels? How close to the RE050A diameter are they and the impact on the speedo? I would like to stay in the SCCA DS tire class we have in the area.
I wonder how the OEM size AD08 would have compared? There're aren't many choices for the stock wheels. Not that I'd want to try with my kid in the car.
Anyone know if this required the fenders to be rolled?
Any issues with fender rubbing?
I have original shocks and springs.
rodgrant: I'm running the same OZ wheel w/ Kmho Ecsta 234/40-18 on stock suspension. If you push the car or carry passengers, the rears will rub. I had my fenders rolled, and no more problems.
