Ditching the exhaust and color would make it awsome.

Tacking a RQP from a Triumph Spitfire to a Pontiac does not a flare fender make.

I agree ditch the paint, but I kinda like that exhaust setup

ditch the flares and add some proper 70's style wheels and tires like some big fat slot mags.. It would look better but some pretty weird paint choices there.

seems kinda pointless to me from a "looks like a functional way to solve a clearance issue" stanpoint, since the lowest point of the exhaust right behind the rear axle is fully visible and a good foot lower than the tips in the bumper.. wonder where the pipes would rust out first?

In reply to novaderrik: I agree! Those pipes almost look like a pair of P traps!

I agree that it doesnt make sense from a clearance standpoint I like the tips coming through the rear like that. A better way to run the pipes is only a sawzall, pipebender, and welder away

here is the add http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/4507644942.html

I purchased this true "Judge" Feb, 27th, 1997. It was a barn car for over ten years the owner told me. The odometer shows 40k miles. I have driven it under 500 miles in the 17 years of owning it. The car has a frame off restoration with mostly NOS parts and all new chrome, rubber, windshield, etc.. Powerhouse had a 1970 455 engine that they rebuilt for me. The only part on the car that I did not replace is the transmission and I am sure it is the one that came in it. It is still good! The front end was even lined up at Judd Kuhn Chevy. The body was professionally customized and painted yellow lime metalflake with emerald green flake added where the body was customized. The wheel wells were shaved to accommodate larger wheels and tires while the ground effects widen to the rear wheel wells and quarters to mold around the very large tires. We built a custom bumper to the new shape of the car and brought the exhaust through the bumper. The car has PS,PB, factory AC and 4 speed.

owner also wants $36500 for the bass boat Judge.

In the 70's that wouldn't have been considered butchering, and a GTO judge was just an old car. We didn't know these cars were going to be rare or valuable back then.

Anyone who claims that car is a frame off restoration should be punched in the mouth, hard...
