yeah, maybe not

unfortunately, most of the 17's are 6.5 wide.

I'll have to do some digging again, I think there are some 17x7's from the 'XM' Sorento... 2009-2014.

I don't think I've found anything that was 17x7.5 or 17x8, in-house so far

The Forte stock wheels are 17x7.

Does a car as light as this need much more tread width than 215?  I doubt it needs more tire from a power standpoint.

Yes... yes it does. What it really needs is an LSD becaue that torque curve means there's power EVERYWHERE. I lovingly referred to them as the big block 4 cylinders. 140ftlbs to the wheels from 2000 rpms through 6000 rpms with a peak at 160 at 4k. Corner exit was always a challenge getting on the power because even 200TW 225's on 7.5" wheels were almost useless.

An lsd would be nice, it is very easy to spin the inside tire from a stop, specially when tires are cold.

I've been happily surprised by the torque. I can be in 6th gear, just a little over 2000rpm in highway speeds and just press the accelerator to move with purpose, without needing to downshift.

BTW. Who makes a rear sway bar for these? Other models that could work? Like veloster as mentioned.

The car leans in sweepers more than I like and I can specially feel the inside rear getting light.
