Hey folks, my f550 with hydro boosted brakes blew a rear line. I got that sorted and while the system wasn't completely bled I hit the brakes with the truck on - the pedal went weird and it made quite a mess of power steering fluid on the front of the truck. Proceeded to bleed the brakes with the truck off and I'm not seeing nearly the same fluid leak now, but I also haven't cleaned it up completely yet. Did it see a pressure spike because of the air in the system? Or just coincidence?

The pump has never been super happy, the previous owner ran it on power steering fluid instead of ATF and it's always been a bit loud.

I'll probably get a replacement in hand, just curious why it spit everywhere.
