Interesting timing. I need to put something on the floorboards of this Jeep project until I can get to it. I've never used POR15 or any other rust inhibitors before. So I'm following.

I'd recommend you stay away from POR15 for the reasons Pete and Girthquake mentioned.

I like Phosphate coatings when I can.  Depends on the material and location, though.  There's nothing you can apply to straight rust and hope it will work long-term, gotta remove it

So if I wire wheel all the rust off, what do I put on it?  For example, the DS floor has some light surface rust. The PS has a hole and the whole thing is getting replaced. For the DS side what should I do?
