It's fun to think about and it would definitely be a challenge to design and build the first half-dozen cars that can do it.  I suspect that once the tech has advanced to the point that it's easy to do it will cease to be interesting to most people, get banned as an illegal driver aid, and the challenge will become how to police people who are trying to use it to cheat.
