The Unicorn sighting thread.

No pictures (so it didn't happen) but on July 10th I saw a V8 Vega and a V8 Pinto motoring together.

And this morning (7/12/22) I saw the probable demise of a Unicorn.  A Subaru Baja backed into a guardrail...

I don't think it's a dragon. It's a Kaiser, for sure, but a coupe, and it had a really unique hood ornament...

After some Google-fu, it appears to be a '51 Kaiser Deluxe. The hood ornament looks kinda like a jet engine nacelle with a needle going through it. 
 

....Smart Fortwo Snowplow? It even had road salt sprayer at the rear.

Didn't get a pic but I saw what was either a repainted ex-Dakar race truck, or a very good DIY'ed version of one, in Oshawa, ON a few days ago. Similar to this but painted a pale blue/green color:

I was the owner of the Rabbit pickup that the local VW dealer used from 1982 (when new) to 1996 when they closed to clear their lot. I never had a chance to use it but he said it worked very very well. 

I asked SnoWay about it and they put me through to the owner who said they sold a few dozen of them.

I saw a Vanderhall three wheeler today in traffic.

Defender 110s are becoming ridiculously common around here...people are taking extreme measures to stand out from the crowd.

Likely a well to do European making their way around around the world, the back will be the living quarters. We were just up in Whitehorse, YT last week and there's always a few rolling through town. 

Speaking of the Yukon, this was our ride for the week while we were up there, a 1995 Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear. We drove it to the top of Mount McIntyre in the picture below on some pretty nasty 4x4 roads which it was perfect for.

I saw a Volvo V50 in person on Thursday. That was much more to my liking than seeing one in a picture leads me to believe.

I just saw the reverse about a week ago. A Pontiac G8 or even an Chevy SS all Holden'ed out. Same color too. Also, what are you driving?
