Dodge has to be feeling pretty good about themselves.

Where would my cars have finished? Somewhere between last and dead last.

Since there's no way of proving, I can say with confidence that I would have won it outright!

You have to love it that a Honda Odyssey beat out a Subaru STi..........in fact, you have to love it that someone entered an Odyssey at all. Way cool.

Ahead of the Honda Odyssey, I'd like to think...

50th place. I would have finished 50th...  sad

DFL. I would have finished a strong DFL.

The answer is 42.

I ran a 2:15 last time I was there in my Miata... so, also 50th place. Surely could have picked up a couple of seconds with a hard top and sticky tires (running 200tw Rivals), but not DFL!

The VIR ST6 track record would be 50th place. We may be slow, but we've got character. And beer. Lots of beer.

An Outback XT beat an STi.

I like that it happened that way.

I can keep up with Miatas so there's hope for me staying ahead of that Odyssey.

From what I remember that Outback XT had some pretty serious power mods.

My car would have placed about 3rd maybe 2nd on the list depending on Wimbles build.

But as a driver I would have been about the mid mark.

I'm proofing the article now. (Yay, me.)

A few interesting takeaways:

A castoff NASCAR is a relatively simple way to go fast.

Ditto a stock Dodge Viper ACR and Comp Coupe.

Also, if an E46 M3 finished in the top-10, that means that mine would have, too, right?

at 1:51, there can't be much left from the factory, maybe the VIN? cheeky

Side note: RIP to Christina's E46 M3 in 14th place.  sad

Also, TIL - my Odyssey is faster than my WRX.

She did. It wasn't at the UTCC and it sounds like she was the victim of someone pushing her off track, but that car is no more. She's already started a new E46 M3 build.

At gridlife events I usually finish somewhere between Luke Mcgrew and Savanna little, so I guess that means 10th-16th ish
