I used to work in this building, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't there when this picture was taken.

What kind of car is this? I'm guessing that it may be a Columbia.

I am googling 1910 Packard but the images aren't quite right but close-ish.

I don't even have a guess. Way early like 1900-1910 is the best I can do. Cool picture.

They all looked like that.

I'm focusing on the shape of the hood and radiator. This is a Columbia that was raced in 1904. The car in the original photo looks like it has tiller steering though.

Might be a 1906 Packard has the more rounded bit on the lower top of the hood.

That original pic looks like is has a baby buggy stroller flip down top or something.

Look at the curve in the hood behind the lower (front) set of headlights.

Ignore the two bottom cars in the image.

Yep, blowing up the picture a little........it does appear to be more of a tiller control.

The pic car looks like the top car in the ad, if you added upper lanterns and removed the rear seating - possibly swapped the seat pan between the coupe and 4 seater.

worlds first body swap?

Looks a bit like the XLIII, but with a tiller and different fenders.

That's a Maxwell; I had an 1907 up until a few years ago, that one's earlier.

I looked at a bunch of Maxwell photos and noted the similar shape of the radiator. But they all seemed to have a prominent radiator cap and louvers on the hood sides, so I ruled them out.

I love brass era cars. They used to come across high end car auction blocks all the time.

Go to the AACA forums website. They'll identify it in a heartbeat.
