As I wrote in my update yesterday, things are tough right now. That, coupled with the requests we've been receiving for years to find a way for you all to support this forum, means we're finally rolling out a new feature: Forum Supporters.
Put simply, this is a way for you to help us cover some of the costs of maintaining this site. Just the photo hosting alone, which we provide free to all forum members, costs us about $1000/month. Add in our developers, site hosting and staff time moderating, and this is far from an inexpensive forum to keep running.
And that's all before you count the costs of creating all the content we post for free every day. As anybody with a project car has found out firsthand, it's not at all cheap to build a car, and it's even more expensive to build a dozen project cars at once, then pay for the editorial and video staff to share the stories with our readers.
If you'd like to support this endeavor, the most direct way to do so is by becoming a GRM Forum Supporter on our Patreon page. In return, we'll apply a sweet (Forum Supporter) tag to your account, and you'll be the envy of the entire board. The minimum price is just $3/month, though most members find so much value in this community that they've been chipping in $5 or $10.

What's the difference between the "Supporter" and "Reader" designations?
I don't do Recurrent Monthly Outgoes. I see some others don't either. How about setting up an annual, billed setting, like $35/yr or something?
