I've checked in on this thread for a bit, but I am only able to come up with what I think would -represent- GRM.  Which is:

Miata for sure, probably an early one

Yugo

Probably a BMW, likely an E30.

These aren't the three I want in my garage, but the three I think are what GRM is about, I guess?

My own "top 3" would be different for sure, and not necessarily representative of GRM.

Your top three is what's representative of you, and that's what we're interested in. I don't think this forum is about trying to fit in, and that wasn't my intention when asking the original question.

I apologize for not making that more clear. Feel free to share.

I'm happy with my own trinity:

Discovery 3 2.7 turbo diesel: large family/towing

BMW e30 coupe with m50 swap: fun/project

BMW m135i hatch: small family car/wife's daily/fun, closest thing I could get to an m2 and still meet the required practical req'ts. Family fits and loves it.

Ah.  No worries.  Suspect:Asperger's - I can give answers that are technically correct, but not exactly what you were looking for.

Which means, you're really after my Top 3 Bucket List kind of thing:

Lotus Super 7 (I built a replica in 2006)

V8 Chevy Sprint (completed a Firefly (same thing) 2018)

60's Chevy C10 (building a '61 Apache)

If I could up it to 5, I'd add a '32 Ford 3-window, and a Bill Thomas Cheetah, and my life would be complete.

My current trinity.

08 Mustang GT for nice day driver and track car.

08 Expedition for towing and family trips and alt DD

09 Mazda 5, wife's car and old kid hauler.

Should be.

Lotus Exige, track car

LS460 AWD or RX350 cruiser and SWMBO DD and cruiser

Land Cruiser or four door Pickup for truck stuff.

Who want to trade what I have for what I want?

A tlc icon for doors off stuff

An ariel atom k turbo for dd (when it's nice out) and track use. Or a street legal legends car with a hyabusa swap and a comfy recaro seat if we all budgetey in here.

A 765lt for dd when its rainy or for bigger tracks.
(replace with a panigale v4r if budget).

Current setup is

84 GTI autox car for fun toy and weekend warrior duties.

06 CTSV all rowdy and was the prior daily.

21 Tesla 3 performance as the new daily.

69 camaro pace car convertible will likely replace the ctsv v as the resident v8.  Will also serve as a sweet ride for Mrs. 84FSP.

15 4Runner Limited is the spousal daily, family truckster, and tow pig.
