In addition to building the Dragon (Dragon' it home in the project cars area), and gong to get other random cars. I also build and ride bicycles.
I currently have 4 bikes. An all road bike (Canyon Enduace) a bike that stays on the trainer (2014 Trek Madone Aluminum) , Hard Tail 29er (Trek Xcaliber 8) and a full squishy (Trek Fuel EX 8). So it make perfect sense to build a new bike.
This will be my light weight very fast road bike. The Endurace has been doing that but I have finally admited to myself that it is too small. After I build up this bike I will probably sell the Canyan Endurace.
The specs:
Ridley Helium Rim Brake Frame and Fork
Carbon Steer tube expander in place of a star nut
Sram Red 11 Speed Wireless
Zipp SL Seat Post (carbon)
Zipp 44mmwide carbon Contour SK SS bars (carbon, shallow drop)
FSA Headset model 44B (very specific to the Helium)
SRAM DUB press fit bottom bracket
Zipp Assembly Paste
Bontrager Aerlous Saddle
Shimano Ultegra SPD SL pedals
SRAM RED 11 speed chain
SRAM Red 11 speed cassette (Titanium)
Wheels for now will be my Vuelta V1SE Carbon 30mm deep
Tires are Continental GP5000 at 28mm wide
TPU Tubes
FSA SLK bottle cages
good times

I'm looking forward to seeing what it weighs!
Oh wow; this should be fun to watch come together! Should be nice and light! 😁
Man it's been a hot minute since I've seen a rim brake build, I dig it! Nice colorway too.

Ok sorry to alarm everyone, this is a non starter. I can't find the correct crown race, I can't find a pf30 for gxp bottom bracket, the piece to convert front derailleur from clamp to braise on is super expensive.. all the little pieces are thwarting the build.
It's all going back in my brother in laws garage.

Let me ask around here, no promises but there's a huge pool of riders around.
I hate any and all PF30/BB30/BB386/BBwhateverthehell. However, if you want to use it, there are definitely BBs available for it. Wheels Mfg makes one, it looks like SRAM itself makes one, and BB Infinite makes one. The rest of the parts are similarly available; I do understand if you were trying to use what you had and now the cost of swapping/adapting a bunch of stuff is giving you pause.
This may sound sort of crazy, but I've bought a complete bike from Bikes Direct, taken all of the parts off of it to put on a frame I already had, built a mishmash bike with the BD frame and my own leftover parts, and sold that bike. I think I was into that one for something like $500 net.
I also hate any Press fit BBs. I fully know that I am old man yelling at clouds, but give me threads or give me death!!!
