the TR6 grabbed my attention. i'm gonna try to resist and hope it goes outside my "i could probably be forgiven" range before i succumb to my weakness.
I live in armada, can (and probably will) check these out if needed.

Just long overdue follow up. I did wind up bidding and winning this tr6. Dummy me did not take 5 minutes to look at it in person, whoops. It looks like a long stored older restoration (mud daubers in the carbs)- I have not done anything but park it in the garage. Closer look now I see rockers & drivers pan shot (and some other pinholes) but I guess overall its solid & complete.
Not super excited about it but I guess to do have the tools fix it (I can see a ton of scope creep)
And yep, spent 10 years in Seattle and now back in the thumb area of michigan.
Looks like that would be a ton of fun to bomb around in, once it's running :) If it ever goes away, post it here first!
Get it running, drive it a bit, then sell it to someone who has always wanted a TR6 and thinks that rust will just cost a few hundred to fix at the body shop.
