Store it!

Cardboard wardrobe boxes. You can put 1 seat in each or 2 seats if you flip one on top of the other. 
 

PS what Recaros are the dream ones? I have SRD Confetti in my 911

The solution for the one race turned out to be fairly easy.
 

I had forgotten that is set up for both side and bottom mounts. I attached four links of chain to each rear side mount bolt and hung the seat from a pair of hooks that were already mounted in the joists. Easy peasey.
