I was actually kind of doing the math today. The fuel savings from buying a used Model 3 Performance would cut its effective monthly payment down to $200-300 or so. And I'd get to drive a car that would shame even Chrysler's latest overengined '03 Mercedes.
Guzzoline adds up at 30kmi/year.
With all the fuel restrictions and highway closures, we are limmited to essential travel only.

Funny, I've been thinking about selling my economy car and just relying on my truck or whatever classic I have running at that point. I went from doing 20k miles/year to...about 5 or 6. No idea when or if "work from home" reverts back to "driving 100 miles a day" .
