Had a sleep study last night. They said they got enough data, but I'm skeptical as that was some of the worst sleep I've ever had.

My new track tires were supposed to get here today. They were on time last night but now they're not getting delivered until tomorrow. I wanted to go to a track day on Sunday. I really hope that they don't get delayed again.

What was your worst night of sleep Appleseed?
Last night.
Oh? What about the second worst night of sleep?
The night before .
Uh..?
It's been 8 days since I got my second moderna shot. When is it going to quit feeling like there's still a needle in my arm?

Dude if you are about to get a CPAP I might jump and joy for you. Of course it was a terrible night sleep, there were tubes in your nose and stuff taped to your chest. I was astonished the first night with my CPAP. I have a friend who woke up his first night with one and cried because of how good he felt.

I had one of those about 10 years ago to see if I had sleep apnea- was shortly after moving in with The Dancer and she was worried about how much I snored. Had much the same experience- slept horribly if I did at all, in large part because so much of the equipment was on my chest and, of course, I tend to sleep on my stomach (or at least need to be on it to fall asleep initially). They were happy with the data though, and determined that I didn't have sleep apnea.
If you buy a top 5 XBox game 2 years after initial release, you really shouldn't have to spend hours figuring out how to navigate and deal with the download and install bugs that have existed SINCE IT WAS RELEASED.
This is some bullE36 M3!

Also, getting fed up with mudding drywall corners.
You may know this, but the corner mudding tip that changed my life was to just do one wall of each corner, then come back and hit the other wall after the mud is set up. So much easier than trying to use a corner trowel.

The first night I had my CPAP, I fell asleep and woke up 7 hours later in literally the same position.

My wife got one. She attempted to use it for about 2 months and slept worse than she did before getting it. It now sits in a drawer gathering dust. An outstanding waste of $800.
I guess it's good for her that the only person her snoring keeps awake is me.
I am berkeleying tired of how cold it's been here! Definitely the coldest few weeks I can remember of my 4 years in Michigan. Barely a day here and there above ~25 to try and crank the heater in the garage and work without hating it.

I feel you, winter has been tough up here
Wait a minute. Why are the open bottles of water in my garage liquid, but the water going to the laundry room that goes through the garage is frozen?

All people talk about in Chicago is the weather; hot or cold.
Is there a spot in the USA or Canada they don't freak out about 4" of snow coming? It's constant chatter.
Guy 1. It's going to snow tomorrow.
Guy 2. Okay, how's your family?
Political sycophants gonna sycophant.
[edit] On a related note, recent studies have definitely shown that people who are obsessed with, or even heavily emotionally invested in, public figures have lower IQ and reduced cognitive abilities.
What's not clear, however, is if that obsession is a result, cause - or even both - of those reduced intellectual abilities.
