That's Sound Defects' second and final album. The first is Soundtrack To The Iron Horse, from that time in the early Oughties when faux soundtracks to imaginary movies were the thing. It's excellent as well.
Sound Defects are literally one dude from (I think) Ohio sitting in his spare room with a sequencer. As far as I know there are no live instruments on either album. Unfortunately for us (though good for him) the guy decided the music hobby was taking up too much family time (he also had a day job) so he retired from it.
You and I continue to be brothers from another mother musically.
Old school country was emo before emo was even a thing. There are a handfull of artists trying to bring it back:

The big double Speedometers album I linked second is very good, but that Abbey Road Masters / Funk Sessions album is unbelievably solid all the way through.
I sent him that, he responded with some Haggis horns...
