Because I mount and balance my own tires, I always have a few boxes of stick-on wheel weights on hand. So in addition to keeping my wheels wobble-free, I've started using them to even out all sorts of crooked things around the house.
It just feels good when the light fixtures in your garage are hanging perfectly level and your oddly shaped wall decor balances with the poise of a zen master. Just today I discovered that my smartphone was too heavy for my brand-new camera gimbal. 3/4 of an ounce in the right place fixed that little problem:
