Can Jackie Ding's modified new Supra—a controversial car in its own right—prove itself on track? There's only one way to find out: our Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge. Run during the HyperFEST weekend, the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge is our annual no-holds-barred track competition.

The rules are simple: Car and driver must just pass a NASA safety inspection. Period.

Besides that, let your imagination run wild—and that's just what some of our second round of accepted entires have done:

Scott Calardo is bringing his self-funded, home-built Chevrolet Camaro SS to prove that you don't need a professional team with backing to be competitive. Does this example of American muscle have what it takes to conquer the turns of Virginia International Raceway?

Sheri, Devin Stiglitz Giles' Honda S2000, has aims of being the fastest S2000 in the country. Will the formula of low weight, high horsepower, and lots of aero make it a champion this year?

Check out the rest of the accepted entires here.

The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge is presented by Tire Rack in association with Wilwood Disc Brakes and XClutch, with trophies from Bimmerworld, Falken Tire,  Hoosier Tire,  SPA Technique, and Aeromotive.
