Follow This Weekend’s Action at the SCCA Time Trials Nationals

Something to look forward to this weekend: the 2020 Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials Nationals Powered by Hagerty.

The Time Trials Nationals is currently taking place at the NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky with 225 competitors are on the entry list. The SCCA ensures that "the growth has occurred with social distancing guidelines in place."

Yesterday, September 23, featured the Holley-Day Celebration, a practice day comprising of three, 20-minute sessions that allowed competitors to get familiar with the NCM Motorsports Park track.

The big item for today, however, is the Time Attack portion of the event in which participants are given three sessions in which to post their fastest lap time.

Saturday features the Track Sprint—an autocross-style challenge that uses only a portion of the track and starts from a standing start—with Sunday consisting of two more Time Attack sessions.
