The GRM PRI booth: Now open for business (and friends)

Dec 9, 2021 | PRI, Performance Racing Industry

Today, December 9, marks the very first day of the 2021 Performance Racing Industry show at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. The best part? Your friends from Grassroots Motorsports are there, too–just look for booth number 3133 in the Yellow Hall.

But wait, there’s more.

We also have a very special car on display in our booth, Team Hi-Speed's Civic Type R TC race car that’s co-driven by GRM contributor Christina Lam. We have word that she might be stopping by the booth during the show to hang out and answer questions–just in case you needed another excuse to come visit.

[After a crash, part 1: Three types of wrecks.]

Can’t make it today? PRI goes until this Saturday, December 11, and we’ll be there for all of it.

Worst thing they ever did was move PRI from Orlando.  How's the weather up there (as if I didn't know)?

I enjoyed PRI in Indianapolis.  We had a snowball fight in the hotel parking lot

About 55 degrees at the moment. One advantage to conventions in Indianapolis in the winter is that if you know what you're doing, you can walk around the downtown core without going outside. If you stayed in one of the right hotels, you could walk PRI during the day, eat out in the evening and make it back to your room and would never have to actually be outdoors (although that sounds unnatural and dystopian to me).

I've had to go to SEMA.  I'd like to go to PRI.  I feel like that's where my people congregate.

I went to PRI once and I had to go to my car to drop off the first two bags of stickers and chachkis I collected.

True.  Indianapolis does conventions really well.
