Who says the low-buck thrills have to end after the Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge Presented by Tire Rack concludes?

The day after the $2000 Challenge, April 8, we’re once again heading out to our official test track, the Florida International Rally & Motorsport Park, for an open track day for competitors and fans alike.

Register early online (at least 72 hours in advance) and the open track day costs $250. If you choose to pay at the gate on the day of the event, it’ll cost $275.

Bring your car, bring your friends and enjoy a day at the Florida International Rally & Motorsport Park all to ourselves.

For more information–including how you can register–visit the Grassroots Motorsports Track Day at the FIRM page on MotorsportReg.

The Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge is presented by Tire Rack in association with CRC Industries, Miller Electric and BendPak, with trophies from ACI Automotive & Performance and TrakkRats.

Just a friendly reminder to the procrastinators (don't worry, I'm one, too), the $2000 Challenge is just 30 days away.

This entry list has grown significantly since I checked a few days ago.  I may jump in.

Edit:  The registration link above is for last year's event.

Here's the link for 2024

Who's ready for the track day tomorrow? If all goes according to plan, I'll have my Cayman, V6 Miata, and GTI on track.

Desperately need to get to bed soon, but also really looking forward to tomorrow. I can't promise I'll be much to lok at or talk too after not enough sleep for four days straight, but I'm sure we'll have a hoot. If anyone wants and track map rundown or some right seat tips or a shotgun ride in the BMW or their own car just let me know.
