Acura announced today plans to enter a 2023 Integra into the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, brought to you by Gran Turismo.
Finished in a red, gray and white livery inspired by Acura's very first race car (a first-gen Integra), the Integra will join four other production Acuras–two NSX Type S supercars and two TLX Type S sedans–in the iconic “Race to the Clouds.”
Featuring a factory stock engine and six-speed transmission, the Integra has been prepared with “upgraded brakes, suspension and differential sourced from the Honda Performance Development (HPD) parts catalog.”
The 100th Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, brought to you by Gran Turismo, is set for June 26.

I'm always a big fan of manufacturers running virtually stock cars in motorsports events. I'm interested to see how well the Integra places.

Same. It's almost showroom stock. It's what a typical consumer would do with their car, anyways.

This is one event I'd love to do someday. It's a bucket list event for sure.
Right, "Integra". I'm just gonna keep calling this the ILX.
It looks good as a race car!
Still curious if we will get an Integra Type-S in the future.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, because that'd be the one to get. I figure we'd hear about not long after the next-gen Civic Type R (finally) drops.
