The entry fee for our upcoming $2000 Challenge goes to $180 after September 22, 2021, so you know what that means: Today would be a great day to put your coin on the machine.

No car? No team? No plan?

No problem. You still have more than a month to figure out such trivial details.

Plan it out, stitch it together, and join us at Florida's Gainesville Raceway on October 22-23 for our Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge presented by CRC Industries and Titan Fuel Tanks.

Here's today’s building tip: Welding rod doesn’t cost that much, and you can always get more.

[8 Tips for Welding Like a Pro]

The schedule will again include autocross, drag racing and concours judging. Trophies, special prizes and those all-important bragging rights will go to the victor.

Valve cover racing has been added to the schedule as well.
