All the cool kids are dropping LS engines into their Mustangs. At least, that’s what the cool kids tell us. But not that they really talk to us that much because, well, because they’re the cool kids. We just follow them online.

What were we talking about again? Oh yeah, Patientzero has fit an LS3 out of a 2010 Chevy Camaro into a 2002 Roush Stage 2 Mustang. Lots of fab in this thread, too, so take a few to soak it all in.

Wrong in so many ways...it's a Ford Mustang....Why put a Chevy mtr in it??? Goes against all sanity...the same as when hot rodders put Chevy's in all makes of older Ford products....should be a law against this practice...

Price out the cost of a Coyote install and then the cost to get it to 500 NA HP.........Then you will see it makes sense. Can't help it ford doesn't want to make a small V8 architecture that isn't larger than BBF of old.

Usually posts like this come in around comment number 4 or 5. Nope. First one.

I am not a fan of engines that aren't from that company (Whichever) but the LS/LT engines are so much cheaper and better performing than the 4V V8s....Weight/Cost/Power-band width and even economy.  I was all in on the 4V superiority and then GM came out with the LS in 97- then saw comparison test of Camaro vs Mustang; Camaro (LS) Better accel' AND mpg.....Quench is the key!

I'm somewhat of a purist myself but that doesn't extend into a 2002 Mustang. I love the car. It looks amazing to me. I'll take it with any reliable, powerful engine available.
