1969 MG MGC GT

Owned since 1980 and well used and abused before I got it. Had to press it into service and it never let me down. Bought for my “rainy day Healey” the handling quickly disappointed me which started my constant improving and developing. Finally took it off the road and after many years of working when I could between job ups and downs, cancer diagnosis and finally retiring on my own terms I was able to finish. Engine went in on May 2nd and on May 24th my wife and I left on a cross country adventure to Virginia and back. Three weeks later we returned home with nearly 7000 miles on the car. Uprated torsion bars, poly and harder front suspension bushings, ADDCO front and rear bars, SPAX adjustable dampers on all 4 corners, reduced rear caster, added leaf in the rear springs, traction bars and Mumford link locating the rear axle, 6” wide Dayton stainless wire wheels mounted with 205/60HR15 BFGs. Improved original wiring harness that looks like factory new with electric windows and wiper delay system, 1972 seats with improved lumbar support, 1973 dash and console, tinted glass. Cruises as fast as I want (80+ comfortably), corners flat and balanced and almost doesn’t notice any crosswinds.
