1958 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

Originally purchased in Germany and shipped over by the original owner. Sports a factory under dash accessory basket, I am told that is rather rare. 36 horse engine is replaced with a later 1650 as well as a later swing axle transmission with a bus shifter housing (to allow it to fit in an earlier car). Do I regret replacing the 36hp? Not really. It is not worth quite as much the new engine, but it is a lot nicer to drive.
