1991 Honda CRX Si

Former SCCA STS racer now being transformed into a hill climb car. I picked it up for a song and promptly had a custom roll cage installed that was nearly double what the car cost. Round here we call that stupid. Stupid but fun. Car has 188k miles and doesn’t burn a drop of oil, runs like a top and gets nearly 40mpg driving to and from events. Cheap thrills. Car is still under construction. I bought it mid-way through December 2009 and it was at the rally shop getting the cage installed for a month. Now it’s time to buckle down and get it ready for racing. Modifications: Suspension: Camber arms all around. KYB AGX shocks all around Extended top hats QA1 400lb springs all around on Megan Coilover sleeves ST 22mm 3-way adjustable rear sway Front sway removed A/C removed Power steering removed ES Poly bushings Braided stainless brake lines EBC Yellow Stuff pads (will be replaced) Interior: B&M Short throw shifter Corbeau A4 drivers seat 6-Point Kales Customs roll cage Power: Custom 2.25” cat back

They should pass a law banning the crushing of any 4th Gen CRX Si. They are still awesome and fun and should enjoy protected status.
