Mazda (2) 1990 protege awd

20

A pair of AWD Proteges. The street car has a complete 323GTR drivetrain swap from the lugnuts to the valve cover, running on a Link standalone and lots of other mods. Roughly 320 HP at the wheels, it’s a very fun sleeper. Rallycar is still being developed, but has a couple stage wins in 3 events. Once we get reliability built in, it’ll be a bit more competitive. Speaking as an SCCA member, a *lot* of us miss rally. Is a Rally America membership expensive? I don't know if I'll ever co-drive again, but I'd sure come help work if you expand further into the Southeast..

The rallycar has a BPT engine in it and is currently undergoing major surgery to implant a toyota alltrac gearbox and rear end. This should help it complete both days of a rally instead of just one (or less dammit). RA membership is about the same as NASA membership iirc, around 100/yr and then what, 75 for the comp license? i'd love to come run STPR or Sandblast but it's gonna hafta be on someone elses' dime. Sponsorships gladly accepted :)
