Hey, thanks! I forgot to make my updates. My head gasket blew. I found a 531 euro non-marine head for not much more than machining would have been on my 530 head, so I picked it up. It's mildly ported, new valves... It looks good. I just ordered an RSI Stage 2 camshaft for it, and I'm looking forward to putting the top end back together.
I just noticed the date of 12/22/09 on that comment. The board just emailed me about it today!
so how did you like the RSI cam?... I hate the stock T cam in mine... shame so few of the good OEM volvo cams came slotted :(
